Paint Technology Training Course

The module is designed to give operatives and those involved with surface coatings a brief introduction to the subject. Topics covered include: -

Brief history of paint.
Basic constituents of paint.
Curing mechanisms.
Manufacturing methods.
Metal substrates.
Corrosion mechanism.
Pre-treatment of metal substrates.
Substrates and preparation.
Electrodeposition.
Powder coatings.
Paint storage and handling.

Cost of the full module is £800 for the eight delegates, however at certain times spare places are available for the modules on the West Bromwich site and the cost for these places is £150 per delegate.
